‘BRAVE CF 39’ results: Tahar Hadbi vs Giannis Bachar, Andreas Gustafsson vs Miro Jurkovic in Stockholm, Sweden

BRAVE CF 39” is the third installment of BRAVE Combat Federation‘s European invasion in Sweden. Scheduled for August 15, 2020 in Stockholm, the show will be headlined by Tahar “Fast Hands” Hadbi, 32, of France and Algeria and a promotional debutante.

A BRAVE CF veteran, Hadbi has been away from the cage since a title eliminator loss to Jarrah “The Jordanian Lion” Al-Selawe, 26, of Jordan at “Brave 12: KHK Legacy” in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 11, 2018. The latter is now the reigning BRAVE CF Welterweight World Champion.

At “BRAVE CF 39,” Hadbi will square off against Giannis Basar, 30, of Athens, Greece, a Titan FC veteran with a professional mixed martial arts record of 6 wins and 2 losses. Making his BRAVE CF debut, the Greek contender is currently on a four-win streak, all of them by way of knockout or submission.

In the co-main event of “BRAVE CF 39,” Andreas “Bane” Gustafsson, 29, of Gävle, Sweden will defend his perfect professional MMA record of 5 wins and 0 loss against Miro Jurkovic, 32, of Sombor, Serbia in a middleweight bout.

Two lightweight bouts are also on the card. In this division, Rafael “The Butcher” Macedo, 33, of Brazil and Sweden will face Tobias “Bad Intention” Harila, 26, of Västerås, Sweden while Sameer Siraj, 30, of Sweden will fight Gregorio Davide “Grenade” La Torre, 30, of Paris, France.

Also on the card are Felipe “D’Ouro” Lima, 22, of Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil and Farbod Irannejad, 30, of Iran and Germany. They face each other at a catch weight of 64kg.

“BRAVE CF 39” will be held in association with Bulldog Fight Night (BFN). It marks the third consecutive BRAVE CF event in Sweden.
