Miss Universe Thailand 2023 Anntonia Porsild (แอนโทเนีย โพซิ้ว), 27, is not omnilingual. But if she was, she would use such a power to be a force for good.

Porsild was born in India to her Danish father Morten Porsild and her Thai mother Tanradee Wangsookklang. Growing up, Anntonia and her younger brother Christopher Porsild lived not only in Denmark, India and Thailand but also in other countries including Spain and Vietnam.

A resident of Nakhon Ratchasima, Isan, Thailand, Anntonia is fluent in Thai and English. She shared, “If I could have any superpower, it would be to have the ability to speak every language in the world because language is the gateway to understanding and impacting others on an emotional level.”

The Danish-Thai beauty queen said she is inspired by the people she helps. She added, “I’m happiest when I see happiness from the people that I have helped.”

In “The Face of Thailand” Season 1, which aired from October 4, 2014 to January 10, 2015 on Channel 3, Anntonia competed against 14 other contestants and finished 10th. In 2017, she studied public relations and communications at EU Business School in Barcelona, Spain.

On September 25, 2019, Anntonia was crowned Miss Supranational Thailand 2019 at The Bazaar Theater in Bangkok, Thailand. On December 6, 2019, she represented Thailand at Miss Supranational 2019, competed against 76 other candidates at the Międzynarodowe Centrum Kongresowe w Katowicach in Katowice, Poland and won the title.

On August 20, 2023, she represented Nakhon Ratchasima at Miss Universe Thailand 2023, competed against 52 other candidates at the MCC Hall of The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi, Thailand and won the title.

If Anntonia wins, she will be the third Miss Universe from Thailand. Representing the Asian country, Apasra Hongsakula and Porntip Nakhirunkanok won the title in 1965 and 1988, respectively.

This is the second edition of Miss Universe under Anne Jakrajutatip, 44, of Bangkok. She is the founder of JKN Global Group, which acquired the Miss Universe Organization (MUO) from Endeavor Group Holdings-owned IMG Worldwide on October 26, 2022.
