Micah R. Coomer is a white man from Muncie, Delaware County, Indiana, United States. He is a member of Harvest Church in Muncie and he attended Delta High School in Muncie.

As a corporal, Coomer served in the U.S. Marine Corps as an intelligence surveillance reconnaissance system engineer based out of Camp Pendleton in California, USA. Here are 13 more things about him:

  1. On April 18, 2015, he ranked sixth in high jump and 12th in pole vault at the 64th Annual Marion Relays at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana.
  2. On March 4, 2017, he ranked fifth in high jump but unplaced in pole vault at OWL Hoosier State Relays Qualifier 2017 at the Briner Sports Complex of Ball State University in Muncie.
  3. On April 15, 2017, he ranked seventh in high jump and 12th in pole vault at Marion Relays in Marion.
  4. On March 10, 2018, he competed in pole vault at Patriot Invitational Hoosier State Relays in Marion and was unplaced. On March 28, 2018, he was in Muncie.
  5. On May 17, 2018, he represented Delta High School at Indiana High School Athletic Association boys track sectional and won pole vault.
  6. In June 2018, he graduated from Delta High School. After his graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps.
  7. On September 9, 2018, Harvest Church took to Instagram and Twitter to honor him with a message that said, “Today we had the honor of praying with Micah Coomer as he starts the next chapter in his life. Please keep Micah in your prayers as he leaves today for the Marine Corps. Thank you Micah for being a kingdom working and serving your country!”
  8. On November 7, 2020, he wrote to an Instagram user, “I just love how after years od trying to get trump out of office by any means the left all of a sudden is going to have a “fair” election. They’re an absolute joke” and “One of my buddies here got a ballot for his cat that died three years ago. It’s literally a joke to them.”
  9. Wearing a red baseball cap, a black Under Armor sweatshirt with neon outline and a green puff jacket, he went to the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C., USA on January 6, 2021 with his fellow active-duty U.S. Marine Corps officers Joshua Abate and Dodge Dale Hellonen. That day, Donald Trump supporters breached the building while a joint session of Congress was certifying the vote of the Electoral College and affirming Joe Biden‘s victory in the 2020 presidential election.
  10. On January 31, 2021, he wrote to another Instagram user, “Oh I know. It’s just goes to show that everything in this country is corrupt. We honestly need a fresh start. I’m waiting for the boogaloo.”
  11. On August 13, 2021, a federal search warrant was served on Facebook authorizing the search of his Instagram account.
  12. A Federal Bureau of Investigation special agent filed a criminal complaint against him, which was signed by U.S. Magistrate Judge Zia M. Faruqui on January 17, 2023.
  13. He was 22 years old when he was arrested on January 17, 2023 Oceanside, California. For his participation in the U.S. Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, he was charged with knowingly entering a restricted building, parading or picketing inside the U.S. Capitol and two counts of disorderly conduct.
