Her bond was set at $800,000.

On May 13, 2023, Iredell County Sheriff’s Office deputies found her intoxicated while she and a minor were passengers of a crashed vehicle driven by another minor on Mocksville Highway in Statesville. One of the minors is the underage student she allegedly had an inappropriate relationship with in 2022. She was charged with violation of pretrial release and cited for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and a misdemeanor for allowing an unlicensed driver to drive.
10. She was 37 years old when she appeared on May 15, 2023 before Iredell County District Court Judge Christine Underwood. After the judge reduced her bond from $750,000 to $50,000, she was released from custody without posting any additional bond.
