The date and venue of the Miss World 2022 coronation night have yet to be announced. It is the 71st edition of the international beauty pageant, which was created by Eric Morley in the United Kingdom in 1951.

Miss World is one of the six grand slam international female beauty pageants. The others are Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Earth, Miss Supranational and Miss Grand International.

Karolina Bielawska, 21, of Łódź, Poland is the reigning Miss World 2021. She was crowned by Miss World 2019 Toni Ann Singh, 26, of Jamaica at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico on March 16, 2022.

Runner-up to Bielawska is Shree Saini, 25, of Seattle, Washington, United States while Olivia Yacé, 23, of Yamoussoukro, Cote d’Ivoire is second runner-up. Meanwhile, these are the confirmed Miss World 2022 candidates:
