The Miss World 2023 coronation night will be held in May 2023. It is the 71st edition of the international beauty pageant, which was created by Eric Morley in the United Kingdom in 1951.
Miss World is one of the six grand slam international female beauty pageants. The others are Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Earth, Miss Supranational and Miss Grand International.
Karolina Bielawska of Łódź, Poland was 21 when she was crowned Miss World 2021 by Miss World 2019 Toni Ann Singh, then 26, of Jamaica at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico on March 16, 2022. She was not able to crown her successor before 2023.
Runner-up to Bielawska is Shree Saini, 25, of Seattle, Washington, United States. Olivia Yacé, 23, of Yamoussoukro, Cote d’Ivoire is second runner-up.
