Miss USA 2020 Asya Danielle Branch, 23, of Mississippi, United States will crown her successor at the Paradise Cove Theater of the River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA on November 29, 2021. It will be the 70th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the Miss Universe candidate of the U.S.

Currently, the U.S. has eight Miss Universe crowns. Representing the North American country, Miriam Stevenson won the title in 1954 followed by Carol Morris in 1956, Linda Bement in 1960, Sylvia Hitchcock in 1967, Shawn Weatherly in 1980, Chelsi Smith in 1995, Brook Lee in 1997 and Olivia Culpo in 2012.

The last time the U.S. did not place in Miss Universe was in 2010. On May 16, 2021, Branch finished in the Top 21 at Miss Universe 2020 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Broward County, Florida, USA.
