Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, 21, of India is expected to crown her successor before 2023. It will be the 71st edition of the international beauty pageant headquartered in New York, United States.
Sandhu is the third Miss Universe from India. The first two are Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta, who were crowned in 1994 and 2000, respectively.
Sandhu was crowned Miss Universe 2021 in Eilat, Israel on December 12, 2021. The respective first and second runners-up were Nadia Ferreira, 22, of Paraguay and Lalela Mswane, 24, of South Africa.
The date and venue of the Miss Universe 2022 coronation night have yet to be announced. Here are the confirmed candidates:
