The Miss Universe 2020 coronation night took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Broward County, Florida, United States at 8:00 p.m. ET on May 16, 2021. It is the 69th edition of the international beauty pageant.

Andrea Meza of Mexico was crowned Miss Universe 2020 at the end of the show, which was hosted by Mario Lopez and Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo. Here is the complete list of the 74 official candidates:

Miss Universe Egypt 2020 Aya Abdelrazik, 24, and Miss Universe Bangladesh 2020 Tangia Zaman Methila, 28, were originally announced as candidates. However, they both withdrew due to new coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown and travel restrictions.

The national costume show was held on May 13, 2021. The 74 candidates competed in the swimsuit and evening gown rounds in the preliminary competition on May 14, 2021.
